Coleford Welcomes Walkers

Monthly Walks Autumn/Winter 26/27

The Coleford Welcomes Walkers Group is offering a series of FREE monthly walks, during the last weekend of each month, to encourage people to get out and walk in the Forest of Dean.

No need to book, just turn up at the times and locations indicated below.

Please ensure that you are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the conditions.

If the walk has to be cancelled due to bad weather or other circumstances, there will be a message on the

Kerne Bridge and Goodrich
After crossing the River Wye, the route uses roads and tracks to reach Goodrich Cross. This
involves some ascents and descents. It then crosses fields and passes below Goodrich Castle
before following the river back to the starting point. Please bring drinks and a snack.
