The town centre of Coleford provides a natural environment for events of all shapes and sizes. Over the years the Town Council have worked hard to support the many volunteer groups that stage the ever popular programme of events.
The season starts early in February with a commemoration of the Battle of Coleford that took place on the 20th February 1643 and runs right the way through until the town's Christmas festivities begin at the start of December.
